The 2nd in the series of 4, Candra's Freedom is just as good if not better than Rowena's Key. After coming through the veil and giving the key to Caedmon so he could save his kingdom, Rowena loses her memory. Caedmon is captured and held captive for two years and away from his lady love, Rowena. When he returns after escaping, he finds she does not remember him or their promise of love. Caedmon needs to figure out how to get her to remember.
