Ev tries to stop asking why this happened to her and fights to pick up the pieces of her life. She knows she can count on the one person who’s been by her side since childhood, her best friend, Clark. He’s the one to catch her every time she falters. His encouragement keeps her from giving up. | I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. It was a very sweet loving short novella. I immediately fell for Clark. How could you not? I don't want to give away any spoilers but what Danny did, no matter the reason or circumstance he was facing, I could not forgive him. Ev was left to a hard decision, one that would make anyone second guess their decision but I didn't agree at first with her choice, but then was ok with it after getting to the end of the story. And all was made right |
